How should the drainage system of a greenhouse be designed?

一、Design of drainage system for multi-span greenhouses
The drainage system of multi-span greenhouses relies on ditches to collect rainwater on both sides of the roof ridge. After the rainwater is collected in the ditches, it is discharged through pipes. The ditch must have a certain slope. If the distance between the ditches exceeds 60 meters, an internal drainage system needs to be added.

2. Installation method
When installing the drainage system, it can be divided into external drainage arrangement and internal drainage arrangement. The installation method is as follows:
1. External drainage layout
Install a ditch head at the edge of the gutter, and install a pipe downwards. The link size is 100mm. The rainwater collected in the gutter can be drained through the pipe.
2. Internal drainage pipe layout
When the drainage pipe is installed inside the greenhouse, the installation of the internal drainage pipe requires drilling holes at the end of the gutter in advance. The installation process is relatively complicated. If there are longitudinal truss beams, multiple turns are required.

三、What kind of effect can be achieved after installation?
After the drainage system is installed, the drainage inside the multi-span greenhouse will be greatly improved. Firstly, it can avoid waterlogging and prevent excessive soil moisture. Secondly, it can also extend the service life of the multi-span greenhouse.
