IoT control system for solar greenhouses

2026-04-29

This technical solution comprises systems including "greenhouse environmental sensors," "weather station system," "IoT greenhouse controller," "greenhouse control logic software system," "suspended digital display screen," "high-definition network camera," "greenhouse IoT software system platform," and "integrated water and fertilizer irrigation." It enables the storage, analysis, transmission, and remote control of greenhouse environmental data, greenhouse images, historical data reports, historical data curves, agricultural operation records, and fertilization records, making it an ideal solution for fully automated control of smart greenhouses.

1. Greenhouse Environmental Sensors:

These mainly include sensors for indoor greenhouse environmental parameters such as air temperature, air humidity, light intensity, carbon dioxide concentration, soil temperature, and soil moisture.

2. Weather Station System:

Primarily used to collect outdoor environmental parameters (outdoor temperature, outdoor humidity, outdoor light intensity, wind speed, wind direction, and rain/snow signals).

3. IoT Greenhouse Controller:

An IoT greenhouse controller is installed in the greenhouse to provide automatic control and long-term data recording functions for greenhouse equipment, thereby achieving remote intelligent management via mobile phone.

4. Suspended Digital Display Screen:

To minimize personnel entry and exit from the greenhouse for plant disease prevention and pest control, a suspended digital display screen is installed inside. Staff can clearly monitor greenhouse parameters such as temperature, humidity, light intensity, CO₂ concentration, soil temperature, and soil moisture from outside the greenhouse.

5. High-Definition Network Camera:

A 360° spherical high-definition network camera is installed high up in the greenhouse to capture the overall growth status of crops from a wide perspective. High-definition images are transmitted to an IoT server every hour for year-round storage. High-rise building managers can access and download these images via the IoT website, comparing and observing hundreds of clear photos of individual plant growth throughout the entire crop growth process to predict pest and disease trends.

6. Integrated Water and Fertilizer Irrigation System:

The integrated water and fertilizer irrigation system provides timed and quantitative irrigation to ensure crops grow in suitable moisture conditions, achieving high yields and realizing intelligent irrigation.
