Performance of solar greenhouse
Solar greenhouses, also known as warm sheds, are composed of gables on both sides, a maintenance back wall, a supporting frame and covering materials.

1. Absorb and collect light to the maximum extent: On the one hand, solar radiation is the most important energy source for maintaining the temperature of the solar greenhouse or maintaining heat balance; on the other hand, solar radiation is the only light source for crops to photosynthesize. The solar greenhouse can store and release heat through the absorption of solar energy by the wall, maintain a certain temperature level indoors, and sunlight is an indispensable energy source for green plants to photosynthesize, so as to meet the needs of vegetable crop growth.
2. Insulation: Due to the rapid development of the plastic industry and the easy breakage of glass, most rural solar greenhouses use plastic film as the roofing material of the greenhouse. In particular, the plastic solar greenhouses built on the basis of soil greenhouses in northern China have obvious characteristics of high efficiency, energy saving and low cost. They are deeply welcomed by local vegetable farmers and consumers. It is one of the effective measures to develop high-yield, high-quality and high-efficiency agriculture and will be developed faster. The experimental results show that when the outdoor minimum temperature is not lower than -25℃, the special structural properties of the plastic solar greenhouse can be used to keep the indoor temperature above 5℃, and the desired results can be obtained.
