Greenhouse based on Internet of Things technology

1.Overview

The application fields of the Internet of Things involve all aspects. Its application in the fields of industry, agriculture, environment, transportation, logistics, security and other infrastructure has effectively promoted the intelligent development of these aspects, making limited resources more reasonably used and allocated, thereby improving industry efficiency and benefits. In the fields of home, medical health, education, finance and services, tourism and other fields closely related to life, there have been great improvements in terms of service scope, service methods and service quality, which has greatly improved people's quality of life.

Intelligent control is to achieve the purpose of energy saving, comfort and convenience, and requires the formulation of detailed strategies and plans for intelligent control and monitoring of cities, families, agriculture, etc. However, traditional intelligent control systems are difficult to meet the requirements due to many factors. In order to solve these problems, the industry has tried many methods, but they are basically closed, mostly using private protocols, which are difficult to communicate with each other, resulting in opaque structure, poor flexibility and scalability. In the long run, the development trend of intelligent control systems is to move towards openness, especially the integration of intelligent control and the Internet is one of the important development trends.

Smart agricultural control automatically turns on or off designated equipment (remote equipment) by collecting environmental parameters such as temperature (humidity), light intensity, soil temperature (humidity), and soil composition in the greenhouse in real time. It can be processed at any time according to user needs, providing a scientific basis for automatic monitoring of agricultural ecological information, automatic control of facilities, and intelligent management.

2.Construction plan

Deploy air temperature and humidity sensors in each smart greenhouse to monitor the air temperature and air humidity parameters in the greenhouse; deploy soil temperature sensors, soil moisture sensors, and light intensity sensors in each greenhouse to monitor soil temperature, soil moisture, light intensity and other parameters in the greenhouse. Only AC 220V mains electricity is required in the greenhouse.

Each greenhouse park deploys collection and transmission equipment (including central nodes, wireless 4G gateways, wireless 4G network cards, etc.) to transmit sensor data, equipment control command data, etc. of each greenhouse in the park to the GiveLink cloud platform.
